How to make the first letter of the blogger post bigger?

Many of us have seen that the first letter of their post is bigger in newspapers or many professional blogs. It looks like a very beautiful and quality post. These characters are called drop cap characters. Now how can we post on our own blog and in bigger letters?

I will show you how to make the first letter of the post bigger.

 

v Open your post; go to HTML View from Compose View.

v Select the letter or word that you want to enlarge.

v Now write this code before the letter or word that you want to make bigger. And after the letter use 2^nd code.

v 1^st code <span style="font-size: 30pt; line-height: 122%;">

v 2^nd code </span>

v Example : I want to make the first letter of the word Chicken bigger. The first letter of the word Chicken is C, so I put the code before C and after C. like   <span style="font-size: 30pt; line-height: 122%;"> C</span>hicken

v Now go back to the compose view and you will see that the first letter has been enlarged. You can make it much bigger if you want.
