Some Blogger BlogSpot templates don’t have “read more”
button. So this reason, many people use manual “Read More” buttons. Because
in their templates don’t have “read more” button.
How can
you add “read more” button?
Some template does not
have the feature an automatic “Read More” button script. If "read more" button not available on your template, then your website homepage will be slow down, and those are
buggy. Moreover, people don’t like without “read more” button, to publish their
post. And without “read more” button your single posts will show entirely on
your home page.
v To show more than one post on your Home page, you need to add “Read
More” button. You need to insert a Jump Break link into the
point where you want to add “Read More” link to appear.
v Now you have to go your BlogSpot or blogger Dashboard, and then go to
your last Post edit screen.
v Scroll down to the point where you want to add your
Jump Break and then click left mouse to place, where you want to insert jump break.
v On the top have, Post edit option toolbar. There is a small icon called “jump break” click on the “Insert jump break” icon.
v Now you can see, a dashed line will seem in your post text, there the jump break has been inserted. This will not trouble your any
post or any page, but it will generate an short post or page with “Read More” script on your nice Home page.
v Now click the Update button.
