 How to create a WordPress website.

WordPress websites can be created in two ways. One way is a normal blog like Blogger and another way is your own custom domain and your own host. Today I will show you how you can create your personal WordPress website with your own custom domain.

 

First STEP :- Setup domain.

To host a WordPress website, we first need a domain. You can buy a domain or use a free domain. If you want a free domain, you need to go this site for a free domain. freenom.com. Sign up here and select the free domain of your choice.  If you do not know how to get a free domain then click here.

Second Step :- Setup Host.

There are free and paid web hosts available. You can use a paid host if you want. Paid hosts have many benefits. But if you want to learn how to build a website, start with a free host. There are many free web-hosts available online. If you do not know how to create a WebHost account then click here.

Third Step :- Link the website to the domain.

·       Now go to Web Hosting Control Panel.

·       Click on Addon Domains.

·       You will see the Name Server of your host.  E.g. - ns1.epizy.com, ns2.epizy.com

·       Now go back to your domain dashboard.

·       Now click on Domain. Then go to Name Server Settings.

·       Put here the name server of your web host.

·       Click on the change name server.

·       Wait 30 minutes. It may take 30 minutes to 24 hours to update.

·       Now add domain to web host.

·       Put domain and click on add domain.

 

Fourth Step :- Setup WordPress.

 

·       Now go to the web host control panel. Click softaculous apps installer.

·       Click on WordPress, and then click on Install Now.

·       Now select the domain name.

·       Enter the name and description of the website.

·       Carefully, enter the admin username and admin password.

·       If you forget, you will get in trouble.

·       Don't forget to give the admin email, because if you forget your name or password, you can recover with this email.

·       Select any theme and click on install button.

·       Your WordPress website has been created.

·       The website usually works as soon as it is installed. But sometimes it takes 4 to 5 hours.

·       How to post?

·       To post, you need to go, to admin panel. Type first your domain name and then a small text like    /wp-admin                .

·       E.g.     example.com/wp-admin

·       Give the admin username and admin password.

·       Now you can post as you like.
